Our client, a well-established law firm with offices in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Transactional Document Specialist (Municipal Bonds) to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and professional environment, supporting attorneys with essential administrative and legal tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
- Maintain and organize legal files, both physical and electronic, ensuring timely access to case materials.
- Assist in managing multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Perform general clerical duties, including typing, filing, and document preparation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word (experience with WordPerfect is a bonus).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and proofreading abilities.
- A proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
- Background in legal, clerical, or administrative roles, with experience in a law firm or legal setting being highly desirable.
- Exposure to document preparation, data management, or research tasks.

Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
